This website is owned and operated by The IPDS Team which is part of the Department for Communities and Local Government. We take your privacy seriously, and to protect it we comply with the principles contained within this policy, which meets the standards and guidelines contained in the Data Protection Act 1998.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies which the DCLG does not own or control, or to people we do not employ or manage.

The IPDS Team is covered by the DCLG’s Data Protection registration. The IPDS Team complies with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Accessing your personal data
You can contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you by sending an email to info@ipds.co.uk or by writing to Data Protection Act, The IPDS Team, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 ORH. We will then provide you with a readable copy of the data we hold about you for a charge of £10. You can, of course, ask us to correct or amend your personal data.

Security is of primary importance to the IPDS Team. We have implemented technology and security policies, rules and measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control, both on and off-line, from improper access, use, alteration, destruction and loss.
Only employees and contractors are granted access to personally identifiable information and then only if they need the information to carry out a specific authorised task. Our contractors are made fully aware of their responsibilities for maintaining the security of any of your personal data we permit them to process.
The servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
