IPDS Fundamentals

IPDS isn't just management speak nor is it a new training regime. This area will give you the low down on IPDS. Its history, why it's been developed, how it's being implemented and how it makes for better and fairer development for every-one in the Fire and Rescue Service.

EFS Database

At the heart of IPDS is the EFS database. This area contains all the National Standards, Role Maps and Development Modules that make up the IPDS method. We've integrated it with our on-line TNA and Career Development tools to provide all the essential information you need to maintain and update the skills you need in your current role or to move forward to a higher level.
